The much awaited Mezz ACE Series with the new Hybrid
Alpha Shaft has arrived. The shaft is a perfect marriage of carbon fiber
and hard maple, resulting in a final product 30% stronger than the
conventional wood shaft without sacrificing the appropriate amount of
flexibility at the tip. The ACE line connects the unique Wavy Pin
directly to the shaft’s wood threads coupled with the beautiful
craftsmanship and designs. This is the cue to have for a custom feel and
superior performance.

Mezz Alpha Hybrid Shaft
Replacing the Mezz Hybrid
Pro, Mezz introduces the new Hybrid "Alpha" shaft with a
re-engineered front-end and core construction for greater
accuracy and power but maintains the feel of an original
hard maple shaft. The Mezz Hybrid Carbon Core (HCC)
Technology generates increase energy transfer to the cue
ball and precise control.
Deflection: The Hybrid Alpha
shaft has the most deflection compared to the WD700 and
Hybrid Pro II Shafts but still less deflection than a
conventional hard maple shaft.

Wavy Joint
Mezz Wavy joint system has a longer shoulder to help locate
the pin into the center of the hole for more accurate
installation and the unique double threads shape of the wavy
pin will join solidly into the wood of the shaft precisely.
This Miki’s original metal-to-wood joint construction (the
flat-faced, wood to wood joint) gives you the solid Mezz
feel while delivering the power of the stroke and
transmitting feedback to the hand firmly.
If you like the flat-faced wood-to-wood joint, precise
alignment and an extremely solid feel, no other
metal-to-wood joints come close to competing with the Mezz
Wavy joint system.
